ADOPTION PROCEDURE
All of our rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up to to date on their shots and micro chipped. The adoption fee is $75 and we ask that all members of the household come and meet the dog(s) you are interested in. Then if you are interested in adopting, you will fill out an *application. If the application is accepted you can come back as early as the next day and take the dog home for a trial visit. (We want people to sleep on their decision before making a commitment). If it doesn't work out for some reason, you bring the dog back. If it works out, you come back to see us with the dog within a couple of weeks at which time you will receive the vet records.
Since we don't have official hours of operation you will have to make an appoinment to come for a visit. The best times are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays after 3 pm and before it gets dark. On the weekends it is best around 11:30 am. We are, however, flexible if another time suits you better.
Once we have set up an appointment, we will send you detailed directions. We are located off of Clark Road a couple of miles east of I-75 (exit 205) in Sarasota.
